In the USA. After being hit in the face by a phone during her New York concert, Bebe Rexha posted an update on social media.
On Monday, the 33-year-old singer posted photos of her injuries on Instagram and assured fans she is doing well.
Rexha is seen here with a black eye but still giving a thumbs-up to the camera. Rexha appears to have had a cut and swelling above her left eye in another photo taken after the attack.
In the caption, she wrote, “I’m doing well.”.
During Rexha’s performance Sunday night at the Rooftop at Pier 17, a member of the audience threw a phone at her, striking her on the side of the face.
Before being ushered off the stage, the singer clutched her face and fell to her knees in pain.
The alleged attacker, Nicolas Malvagna, was arrested and charged with assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault, and harassment by NYPD officers.
After being arraigned Monday, Malvagna was released without bail. During the arraignment, prosecutors said Malvagna threw the phone out of amusement.
Rexha according to reports, launched her Best F’n Night of My Life tour in May. She is expected to perform on Tuesday in Philadelphia. See videos/photos below.
