Joseph Ochieng, a father from Kenya, tragically lost his newborn son due to breathing complications. After the baby’s passing, they laid him to rest within their own property.

However, they were shocked to discover that the grave had been opened and the baby’s clothing was found beside it. This distressing incident prompted the family to report the matter to the Mwer Police Station, leading to an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the event.

In Siaya county, another family is facing turmoil as the grave of their infant, buried ten days prior, was found open and the body missing. Joseph Ochieng, the father, revealed that his son had passed away just three hours after birth on May 28, due to breathing complications.

They had buried the baby within their compound, only to wake up on June 7 to find the body missing. The discovery of the clothes next to the open grave has left them deeply unsettled, fearing that someone had taken the corpse during the night.

The family is struggling to understand the motive behind this disturbing act as they grapple with the situation.The Mwer police have been notified and are currently conducting an inquiry into the incident to ascertain why this has occurred.
