With New Jersey liquor license in doubt, Trump’s losing Streak Continues.

Donald Trump continues to face a series of challenging days, as Forbes has reported that the attorney general of New Jersey is considering the possibility of revoking the liquor licenses of three of Trump’s golf clubs due to his conviction of 34 felonies.

Trump is the sole owner of these three golf clubs located in New Jersey: Bedminster, Colts Neck, and Philadelphia. According to New Jersey law, individuals convicted of crimes involving moral turpitude are prohibited from obtaining a liquor license.

The state handbook further explains that such crimes typically involve acts of dishonesty, fraud, or depravity that are severe enough to warrant a prison sentence of more than a year.

In 2019, New Jersey officials had already threatened to revoke the liquor license of Trump’s Colts Neck golf club due to multiple infractions, including an incident in 2015 where the club allegedly served alcohol to someone who was later involved in a fatal car accident.

Adding to Trump’s troubles, CNN recently reported that the New York Police Department will revoke his firearm license now that he is a convicted felon.

Although Trump had lawfully transferred one of his three licensed guns to Florida, it is important to note that Florida also has restrictions on felons owning firearms.

In addition, Trump’s conviction could prevent him from traveling to 37 countries that prohibit convicted felons from entering, including Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

Perhaps most significantly, Trump’s conviction could have a negative impact on his chances of winning the 2024 election, potentially resulting in one of the most significant victories for the rule of law in U.S. history. On May 3, Donald Trump was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records.
