Life outside Nigeria is challenging. In Cyprus, Happie Boys say they are unable to cope.

The ex-security guards, Happie Boys, who had been offered scholarships to study abroad, have spoken out again on social media about their current situation.

If you recall, last year, the young men, namely Mathew Precious Kelechi & Amakaor Johnson became popular on social media. This was after they were both fired for dancing on the job. (See the video below).

Following the report, their videos became viral in the Nigeria blogosphere, with many people supporting them. They said it would be wrong to have their employers fire them for dancing on the job.

In fact, during that time they received public sympathy and were awarded a fully funded scholarship, alongside their manager Caleb, to study abroad by philanthropist Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor of Omega Power Ministries (OPM).

But today according to the latest news making the rounds, and after attending school in Cyprus for only 6 months, the boys have now decried that they have both dropped out of school due to lack of sponsor.

They also said that living in Cyprus is hard because the person they were staying with can no longer continue to accommodate them with many of their needs, and that in Cyprus, there is no way to work without papers.
