“There is nothing in Labour party” – Guber aspirant joins PDP in Ogun State

An aspiring governor of Ogun State for the Labour Party, Modupe Sanyaolu, has decamped.

Sanyaolu officially joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun, saying there is nothing in the Labour Party.

Speaking at the PDP secretariat in Abeokuta on Friday, the former guber aspirant said

“I was a governorship aspirant of the Labour Party. But today, I am joining the PDP. I have tested Labour Party and I know there is nothing there.

“My desire to join the PDP is to support Hon. Ladi Adebutu as the next governor of Ogun State. This is the winning party and I know we are here to win,” she said, urging Ogun people to support the PDP.

Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said the party leadership in Ogun did not submit lists of its guber candidate and that of those running for the house of assembly.
