The news making the rounds today is that the son of a well-known singer Tina Turner has died at age 62. This announcement was made today by his wife, Afida Turner on her social media page.

According to her

” MY GOD RONNIE TURNER A TRUE ANGEL HUGE SOUL HIGHLY SPIRITUAL MY HUSBAND MY BEST FRIEND MY BABY. As your mother and as your nurse, I did everything in my power to save you this time but was not able to do so. I’ve loved you for 17 years, and I’m so, so upset. (sic)

Continuing, she wrote on her page: ” THIS IS A TRAGEDY WITH YOUR BROTHER CRAIG AND YOUR FATHER IKE TURNER AND A LINE SITTING IN PARADISE, SO UNFAIR.”

As at the time of reporting this news, several news outlets have reached out to the Turner family to ascertain what exactly happened. But details of the death remain sketchy.

According to reports, Ronnie Turner was the youngest of Tina Turner’s four sons and made an appearance in his mother’s 1993 biopic, “What’s Love Got To Do With It?”.

This tragic news also comes four years after his brother Craig killed himself.
