In Lagos, an accusation of rape lands a medical doctor in prison.
Femi Olaleye, the managing director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, has been remanded in Ikoyi prison. He was remanded in Ikoyi prison pending payment of bail by a Lagos court dealing with domestic violence and special offences.
The managing director was arraigned by the Lagos state government on Wednesday, November 30.
He was charged with rape. The medical doctor has pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of defilement of the child and sexual assault by penetration.
