The assailants fatally stabbed him before fleeing with his vehicle, leaving his body dumped along Agidingbi Road in Ikeja.
The Amalgamated Union of App-Based Transporters of Nigeria has launched an investigation, urging better security measures for e-hailing drivers.
Authorities are working to track down the attackers, as concerns grow over driver safety in Lagos.
