Kuwait has revoked the citizenship of 3,856 individuals, citing national security violations, dual nationality, forgery, and disloyalty to the state.

This decision was made by the Supreme Committee to Investigate Kuwaiti Citizenship, chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.

The revocation comes amid a broader context of global immigration policies, including the recent aggressive stance taken by the Trump administration in the United States.

President Donald Trump’s immigration policies have influenced other countries to adopt stricter measures.

The Kuwaiti government emphasized that the decision to strip citizenship was in line with the Kuwaiti Citizenship Law and aimed at safeguarding the country’s national identity and security.

The committee’s findings revealed various offenses, including dual nationality, forgery, and breaches of loyalty.
