Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have carried out yet another deadly assault on Zah and Mubang communities in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, killing 14 residents and injuring several others.
According to reports, the attackers invaded the villages around 6:16 p.m., firing indiscriminately and setting shops, food stores, and other properties ablaze.
Residents described the incident as yet another devastating attack in a long pattern of violence that has repeatedly targeted the area.
By Tuesday morning, families were mourning their losses and assessing the destruction left behind.
Community leaders have renewed urgent calls for improved security, warning that rural settlements remain dangerously exposed to ongoing insurgent threats.
The attack comes at a time when global tensions around terrorism and security remain high.
