According to a Swiss court, a former Miss Switzerland finalist was murdered and dismembered by her husband, who attempted to conceal the crime by blending her remains.
Kristina Joksimovic, a 38-year-old mother of two, was discovered deceased in February in Binningen, near Basel, with her husband, identified in reports as Thomas, 41, arrested shortly after the discovery of her dismembered body.
The reason behind his actions remains unclear.
Investigations revealed that Kristina had been strangled prior to her death, despite Thomas’s claims of self-defense, asserting that she had attacked him with a knife.
Forensic evidence contradicted Thomas’s narrative, indicating that Kristina’s body was dismembered in their laundry room using various tools, including a jigsaw and garden shears, before being “pureed” in a hand blender and dissolved in a chemical solution.
The shocking nature of the case has left the local community in disbelief, with friends expressing their astonishment at the couple’s seemingly perfect family image, while others noted that they had been experiencing significant marital issues in the months leading up to the incident.
