Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu expressed his gratitude to the Finnish government for the arrest and detention of Simon Ekpa, a prominent Biafra agitator.

During a meeting with the Finnish Ambassador to Nigeria, Ms. Sanna Selin, at the State House in Abuja, Tinubu commended the Finnish authorities for their timely intervention.

President Tinubu emphasized that his government has zero tolerance for actions and statements that could lead to divisiveness among citizens.

“Nigeria is indivisible. We have been through turbulent times, and we don’t want to promote terrorism,” Tinubu stated.

The Finnish Ambassador, Ms. Selin, acknowledged the challenges posed by Simon Ekpa’s activities and praised President Tinubu for his courage in initiating reforms that will benefit Nigeria’s economy and ensure future prosperity.

Simon Ekpa is a prominent Biafra agitator and a separatist leader known for his advocacy for the independence of Biafra, a region in southeastern Nigeria.

Ekpa has been a vocal and controversial figure, often making headlines for his activities and statements.

As of now, Simon Ekpa has been arrested and detained in Finland. However, there is no information indicating that he has been deported to Nigeria.
