Gaza War Victim’s Family Denied Entry to Australia.

Australian officials have reportedly refused entry to the children of a victim from the Gaza conflict, whose brother has been residing in Australia.

Zuhair El Henday, a long-term resident of New South Wales, expressed his disappointment regarding his failed attempts to obtain visas for his family members still in Gaza.

He emphasized his commitment to Australia, questioning why he is unable to bring his family to safety in the country he has contributed to.

The tragic backdrop of El Henday’s situation includes the loss of his sister, Lubna, along with her husband and children, who perished in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City last November.

His comments come in the wake of Australian opposition leader Peter Dutton’s controversial proposal to prevent Palestinians fleeing Gaza from entering Australia, a stance that has drawn criticism from both government officials and civil society groups.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has rebuked Dutton’s divisive rhetoric, while Nasser Mashni, president of the Australia Palestine Advocacy Network, has condemned the remarks as disgraceful.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in significant casualties and devastation in Gaza, with international calls for an end to hostilities growing louder.
