In a recent interview, Solomon Buchi expressed his concern about Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, the founder of Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministries (CMDM).

Solomon Buchi, a prominent media personality, advocated for the pastor’s arrest due to what he views as deceptive practices directed at Christians.

Buchi articulated his concerns on his X page, asserting that Prophet Jeremiah fails to exemplify the true characteristics of a Christian or a legitimate man of God.

He described the prophet as a sorcerer who interacts with familiar spirits, calling for him to be publicly condemned, reprimanded, or even detained. Buchi emphasized that Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin should not be regarded as a Christian or a prophet, as he does not embody the true essence of a man of God.

Instead, he operates in a manner akin to a sorcerer, collaborating with familiar spirits. Buchi stressed the importance of denouncing such figures, stating that it is imperative to protect the integrity of the church from those who misrepresent the name of Jesus.

He expressed his belief that it is vital to safeguard the faith from individuals who provide non-believers with grounds to ridicule the church.

While the mission to spread the gospel remains paramount, it is equally important to delineate what true Christianity does not represent.

Drawing parallels to the biblical admonition of Simon the magician by Peter, Buchi noted that just as Simon’s heart was misaligned with God, so too is Jeremiah’s.

He criticized the prophet’s claims of wealth, use of intimidation, and commercialization of miracle products for personal gain, suggesting that such behavior signifies a troubling transformation of a local spiritualist, who has no rightful place within the church and will face divine judgment.

For those who may not be acquainted with this pastor, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin is a religious leader who has been the subject of allegations made by an individual known as the Very Dark Man, concerning the sale of what is claimed to be ineffective healing water.

In light of these allegations, he took legal action against the Very Dark Man, seeking N1 billion in damages for defamation.

Nevertheless, the lawsuit was later retracted upon the revelation that he had not obtained the necessary registration for his healing water from the Nigeria National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
