If you missed it.

After the Democratic National Convention wrapped up, Dinesh D’Souza, known for his confrontational stance against critics of his political views, took to social media to direct his ire at Tim Walz’s teenage son.

This came in response to the young man displaying emotion during his father’s acceptance of the Vice-Presidential nomination.

Gus Walz, the Vice President’s son, faces challenges such as ADHD, an anxiety disorder, and a non-verbal learning disorder, which can significantly influence how an individual expresses emotions in response to significant events.

Numerous individuals on X who observed D’Souza’s remarks have highlighted his contentious history, which includes allegations of domestic violence and physical abuse towards his former wife.

This has led many to question his credibility in mocking a young person who is merely expressing pride and emotion regarding his father’s achievements.

Dinesh D’Souza, according to records, is a right-wing commentator, conspiracy theorist, author, filmmaker, and a convicted felon who was granted a presidential pardon by Donald Trump.

He has also been a prominent critic of former President Obama, alleging that Obama’s father, Barack Obama Sr., held anti-colonialist views that influenced Obama’s understanding of American exceptionalism.

This background adds complexity to the ongoing discussions surrounding D’Souza’s provocative statements and the responses they elicit. See Video / Comments below.
