The news as it trends.
During the Black History Month celebration held at the White House today, President Donald Trump extended invitations to numerous prominent African American celebrities, including Tiger Woods and Kodak Black, among others.
This event came as a surprise, especially considering the cancellation of the official Black History Month celebration by President Trump.
In an unexpected announcement, President Trump revealed plans to establish a National Garden of American Heroes to honor various notable African American figures.
According to him, the plan was part of the executive order he signed last month, and they are picking the final site as he speaks.
According to him, the list of names to be commemorated includes Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Coretta Scott King, Frederick Douglass, Jackie Robinson, Martin Luther King Jr., Muhammad Ali, and Kobe Bryant.
The garden, according to President Trump, will feature statues of these iconic African American individuals.
Among those present at the White House for the Black History Month celebration was comedian Terrence Williams, who, along with his friends, expressed their excitement while awaiting the President’s arrival.
