The family residence of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in Obeiba-Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria, was attacked by unidentified gunmen in the early hours of Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

The assailants, armed with firearms and cutlasses, vandalized the building, shattering window panes before fleeing the scene.

Thankfully, no casualties were reported, according to Makama.

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, a prominent political figure in Nigeria representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has yet to issue an official statement regarding the attack.

Intelligence sources revealed that Yakubu Ovanja, the senator’s Chief Security Officer, reported the incident to local authorities.
