It could be considered another disturbing incident and deeply troubling to navigate.

This shocking case occurred in Miami-Dade County, Florida, where Georgy Almony, a 42-year-old stepfather, allegedly burned his 10-year-old stepdaughter’s hand on a hot stove as punishment for pushing her brother.

Per social media reports, on the day of the incident, the girl was home with Almony while her mother, Milliene Adeclat, was at work.

Almony reportedly became angry after the girl pushed her brother.

He grabbed her arm, dragged her into the kitchen, and pressed her hand onto the hot stovetop.

The burn was severe enough to cause her skin to come off, leaving a visible coil mark.

Upon authorities’ arrival, they described this act as extreme child abuse, with Almony allegedly using the stove as a form of punishment.

The victim screamed in pain and fled to her room, where she used Almony’s phone to call her mother.

Despite being informed of the incident, Adeclat reportedly did not seek medical treatment for her daughter or alert authorities.

As the case unfolds, Almony has been arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse causing great bodily harm.

Adeclat was also arrested for child neglect causing great bodily harm, as well as aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer for resisting arrest.

Both Almony and Adeclat were taken into custody. Almony is being held on a $7,500 bond, while Adeclat is being held on a $1,500 bond.

This case has sparked outrage and concern over the safety of children in abusive environments, especially with a stepfather acting as a babysitter but unable to control everyday common scenes between siblings.
