LeBron James has come to the defense of his wife, Savannah James, following controversial comments made by rapper Kevin Gates.

Recently, Gates ignited a debate by suggesting that white women admire LeBron more than Savannah does.

He stated, “I don’t like the way Savannah looks at LeBron.

I like the way them white women look at LeBron,” and questioned why Savannah appeared unfazed by her husband’s status as one of the greatest basketball players in history whenever he appears at games.

In a strong response, LeBron took to Instagram, sharing a striking image of himself with Savannah and captioning it, “Kings don’t concern themselves with the opinions of peasants. Where to next Queen?!?! Let’s get it!”

This cleverly crafted response effectively silenced detractors and underscored his unwavering commitment and affection for his wife.

LeBron, aged 40, and Savannah, aged 38, have been married for over 12 years and are parents to three children: Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri.

Widely celebrated as one of the greatest athletes ever, LeBron boasts an estimated net worth of $1 billion.

Many were shocked on Twitter by Gates’ remarks, which inadvertently highlighted the resilience of LeBron’s relationship and his love for Savannah, demonstrating their solidarity in the face of public criticism.

Kevin Gates, a 39-year-old American rapper, singer, and entrepreneur, is known for his reflective lyrics and Southern hip-hop style.

He has released numerous successful mixtapes and albums, including his debut studio album ‘Islah,’ which reached number two on the Billboard 200.

Gates is also the founder of the record label Bread Winners’ Association, with a net worth estimated at around $2 million as of 2025.

Gates’ remarks about Savannah on social media have faced widespread backlash for being disrespectful and perpetuating harmful stereotypes, with some even labeling them as racist.

Both fans and critics have condemned Gates for overstepping boundaries, while Savannah cleverly addressed the situation with a lighthearted social media post, effectively dismissing the controversy.
