The news as it trends.

In his latest diatribe, Nigerian singer Davido has been caught on camera threatening a Nigerian police officer, according to reports, saying they are mad and that he is mad as well, suggesting that all of them may be mad together.

If you are wondering what happened, the Nigerian singer David Adeleke, called out the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Umar Abba, over the handling of the political crisis in Osun State.

The crisis involves tensions between members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), stemming from attempts by sacked local government chairmen to reclaim their positions despite court rulings.

In Nigeria, these are two political parties that are rocking the nation and the most popular ones.

Governor Ademola Adeleke happens to be a governor of the PDP party in one of the Nigerian states, Osun State.

Governor Ademola Adeleke, Davido’s uncle, held a press conference urging President Bola Tinubu, the Nigerian President, to intervene and restrain his Minister, Gboyega Oyetola, from allegedly using security forces to reinstate the sacked chairmen.

However, while the plea to the Nigerian President was ongoing, Davido took to social media to express his dissatisfaction with the police commissioner’s handling of the situation.

As it is, it’s definitely a tense situation, and it seems like Davido is really passionate about ensuring justice and the rule of law in his home state, Osun State, Nigeria.

In the video, Davido can be seen expressing his frustration and making strong statements about the situation.

“Let’s all be mad and that someone needs to pull up. Whatever that means.”

Some fans have compared Davido to other local Nigerian singers like Portable, who is known for being quick to fight over every issue and seen as disgracing his position as one of the popularly known singers worldwide.
