Nigerian Comedian Bovi Says Strained Relationship with Father Stemmed from a Generational Curse.

Nigerian comedian and actor Bovi Ugboma, 45, has revealed that his difficult relationship with his late father was influenced by what he calls a “generational curse.”

Speaking with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Bovi explained that his father passed down negative energy, which stemmed from deep-rooted family patterns.

Despite their strained relationship, Bovi chose forgiveness before his father’s passing in 2021, determined to break the cycle for future generations.

He admitted that for years, he viewed their bond from a victim’s perspective, feeling it lacked love.

However, instead of holding onto resentment, Bovi cared for his father with love and worked toward healing.

Rather than focusing on specific incidents that led to their strain or a particular event that caused their disconnect, he chose to emphasize his personal growth and how he moved forward from it.
