The news as it trends.

On Monday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met with Nigeria’s Catholic leaders in Rome, reinforcing ties between the Nigerian government and the Catholic Church.

The meeting featured Bishop Kukah, Archbishop Lucius Ugorji, Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama, and Archbishop Alfred Adewale Martins, all of whom engaged in discussions on unity, governance, and faith, according to media reports.

Tinubu’s visit coincided with the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV, where he joined other world leaders in celebrating the historic transition in the Catholic Church.

The engagement, as seen from the images, showcases Nigeria’s commitment to interfaith dialogue and national development.

It is worth noting that President Tinubu, a practicing Muslim, embraces all religious groups in Nigeria and promotes tolerance and inclusivity, regardless of tribe or ethnicity.
