In a divorce settlement, Tina Knowles provided her ex-husband with $300,000.

Reports indicate that the divorce between Tina Knowles and actor Richard Lawson has been officially finalized after a year of separation.

The dissolution of their marriage involved the division of significant assets, with Knowles agreeing to a settlement exceeding a quarter of a million dollars to her second ex-husband.

The couple, who married in 2015, separated on July 25, 2023, with Knowles filing for divorce the following day, citing “irreconcilable differences” and an “irremediable breakdown” of their relationship.

Knowles, who was previously married to Beyoncé’s father Mathew Knowles for over three decades, and Lawson, who had a prior marriage to actress Denise Gordy, do not share any children.

As part of the settlement, Lawson received a 2021 Cadillac Escalade, various bank and retirement accounts, and rights to his studio and creative works.

In contrast, Knowles retained a 2018 Tesla, a 2020 Bentley, her Los Angeles home, a property in Texas, and all personal belongings, including jewelry and retirement accounts, along with her earnings accrued after their separation.
