The news as it trends.
Recent reports circulating on social media suggest that media personality Chioma Ikoku, popularly known as Chioma Goodhair, played a crucial role in helping Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo accept her daughter Priscilla Ojo’s relationship with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.
According to Chioma Ikoku’s own statement on social media, persuading Iyabo Ojo was no easy task.
One of Iyabo’s main concerns was that their family had no Tanzanian roots, ties, or previous connections to the country.
She wasn’t sure if her daughter should pursue a relationship with someone outside of their familiar culture.
Chioma, however, felt strongly about Juma Jux after speaking with him personally.
She revealed that she had multiple conversations with Iyabo, trying to ease her worries. Eventually, she was able to convince her that Jux was serious about Priscilla, based on her firsthand impressions of him.
At first, Iyabo remained skeptical, stating that several reports from Nigerian blogs had raised concerns about Juma Jux.
However, Chioma worked tirelessly to ease her doubts and reassured Iyabo that Priscilla’s relationship had genuine potential.
Iyabo later agreed that dating should lead to marriage, and Juma Jux appeared to share the same sentiment.
Like anyone convinced of something they firmly believe in, Chioma’s persistent efforts helped Iyabo Ojo finally accept Juma Jux and Priscilla’s relationship.
Today, their love story has become one of the most talked-about marriages on social media, with reports showcasing how the couple celebrated their love with seven separate ceremonies to solidify their union.
