End of an Era: Jocelyne Wildenstein, the ‘Catwoman,’ Passes Away.

Jocelyne Wildenstein, the Swiss socialite famously referred to as “Catwoman” due to her numerous cosmetic surgeries, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 31, 2024, in Paris at the age of 79.

Her partner, fashion designer Lloyd Klein, conveyed the sorrowful news, emphasizing the profound loss of his cherished fiancée.

Born in 1945, Jocelyne rose to prominence in the socialite community following her marriage to art dealer Alec Wildenstein, with whom she had two children.

Their highly publicized divorce in the late 1990s culminated in a staggering $2.5 billion settlement, marking it as one of the most costly in history.

Despite speculation, Jocelyne asserted that her surgeries were not intended to win back her former husband, and she gained significant popularity on Instagram, amassing over a million followers who admired her striking feline-like eyes and opulent lifestyle.

In recent times, Jocelyne divided her residence between New York and Miami but had been staying in Paris since August 2024.

Her last Instagram post, dated December 23, 2024, featured a video with Lloyd outside the Ritz Paris. Lloyd fondly remembered Jocelyne as his best friend, partner, and fiancée, commending her lively spirit and sense of humor.

She leaves behind a notable legacy in the realms of fashion and socialite culture, remembered for her distinctive style and passion for life.
