Nigerian socialite and businessman E-Money, whose real name is Emeka Okonkwo, after regaining his freedom, took to social media to express gratitude and reflect on his recent detainment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged currency abuse.
In his Instagram post, the 44-year-old entrepreneur advised fans to celebrate responsibly, reminding them that spraying money at events is illegal and urging everyone to follow financial regulations.
Accompanied by the gospel song “Thank You for Saving Me,” his message reassured followers that he remains positive despite the ordeal.
E-Money is the CEO of Five Star Music, a record label known for signing top Nigerian artists, including his brother Kcee.
He also operates multiple businesses, including Emmy Cargoes Shipping Nigeria Limited, and has an estimated net worth of $55 million, according to Nigerian celebrity wealth reports.
