The News as It Trends
Yinka Theisen, the ex-partner of Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, is back in the spotlight after unleashing a public rebuke on social media, accusing veteran actress Rita Edochie of spreading misinformation and using her name for clout.
In a now-viral Facebook post, Yinka warned Rita to stop “bullying” her and threatened to expose private information if provoked again.
The feud stems from Rita’s public defense of May Edochie, Yul Edochie’s estranged wife, whom Yinka had reportedly attacked online – allegedly even leaking her phone number.
Rita responded by calling Yinka’s behavior toxic and celebrated her “swift exit” from the Edochie family, stating she was never officially part of it.
This saga has reignited conversations about online harassment, mental health, and the emotional toll of public drama – especially when it involves high-profile families like the Edochies, in a country where no serious laws exist to hold trolls and online bullies accountable.
If you’re struggling with mental health, bullying, or constant harassment from online trolls, here’s a reminder: you don’t have to engage. Disengage.
Focus on the positive side of life. Social media can be a minefield of negativity. Protect your peace. Mute, block, log off – whatever it takes.
In the end, you will never win with bloggers or trolls who thrive on chaos and trending drama.
Focus on healing, not headlines.
