The victim, identified as Stella Nnadi, died from her injuries two days after a reported assault at her home.

The event occurred on the morning of Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the victim’s residence in Carrigaline.

Following the incident, Stella was transported to Cork University Hospital after experiencing severe illness.

The incident unfolded on Sunday evening when the victim’s daughter was assaulted in their kitchen.

After seeking help from a neighbor, the daughter returned to find her mother in a disoriented state. Stella reported being pushed and dragged down the stairs.
