Ayesha Curry, wife of NBA star Stephen Curry, encountered a distressing situation with Parisian law enforcement while attempting to reach her vehicle with her infant son during President Emmanuel Macron’s motorcade.

The incident visibly upset Ayesha and involved urgent discussions and appeals from her mother-in-law, Sonya Curry, as they worked to resolve the matter.

Ayesha, who was carrying her four-month-old son Caius and holding the hand of her six-year-old son, spent several minutes trying to access their car after the men’s basketball final on Saturday.

Despite Sonya’s frantic pleas, including a claim that someone had “touched the baby,” the French police refused to allow the family to reach their vehicle or let their driver approach.

A visibly distressed Ayesha, 35, was seen with her infant son in a baby carrier, while her six-year-old son Canon Jack, draped in an American flag, stood beside her.

The situation escalated, prompting a response from the authorities and leaving the family shaken during what should have been a celebratory occasion.

Sonya Curry confronted the officers on the bustling Paris Street, trying to clarify their situation and requesting permission to cross.

In a video, Sonya expressed her frustration, stating, “Look, they won’t let us go back over there where we came from. They won’t let the driver come here and they won’t let us go back over there.”

She also told one officer, “You will not sleep well,” while asserting that someone had touched Caius, Ayesha and Stephen’s son, all of which occurred due to Emmanuel Macron’s motorcade passing first.
