The news as it trends.

Critics on social media have expressed their frustration as Tesla announces another recall affecting 46,000 vehicles.

The company, founded by Elon Musk, has faced significant backlash following this latest recall, with some critics drawing parallels to a Ponzi scheme.

Accident reports are emerging left and right involving Tesla-made cars.

As a result, Tesla has voluntarily recalled over 46,000 Cybertrucks manufactured between November 2023 and February 2025 due to a cant rail panel issue that could detach while driving, posing a safety risk and the potential for fatal accidents involving drivers and passengers.

This recall was initiated by Tesla and reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Based on the recall details, Tesla has produced and sold approximately 46,000 Cybertrucks since their launch in November 2023.

This figure represents all the vehicles affected by the recall, as Tesla has stated that it covers every Cybertruck manufactured up to February 2025.

As customers navigate the recall process, growing concerns have arisen regarding Tesla’s production quality and the increasing frequency of vehicle problems.

Some critics liken the situation to a get-rich-quick scheme, emphasizing the billions in subsidies received by Elon Musk while delivering vehicles with questionable quality.

Reports indicate that Elon Musk’s companies, including Tesla, have received nearly $21 billion in federal contracts and subsidies over the last 16 years, according to federal contracting data.

By 2015, Tesla had already secured approximately $4.9 billion in subsidies, which included tax incentives and grants aimed at fostering innovation in electric vehicles.

However, buyers have become increasingly frustrated with the ongoing recalls.

Critics argue that while Tesla has been a leader in electric vehicle technology, the frequency of recalls undermines consumer confidence in the brand.

Despite Tesla’s assurances that repairs will be provided at no cost, concerns about safety and long-term reliability persist, prompting questions about whether the pursuit of innovation has come at too great a cost.
