In an unexpected turn of events, an armored truck traveling through Oak Park, a Chicago suburb, accidentally dropped $300,000 in cash when its back door opened unexpectedly.
The incident, which occurred in a Chicago suburb, saw three bags of money spill onto the road.
Witnesses reported a chaotic scene as 50 to 100 people rushed to grab the cash before fleeing on foot and in vehicles.
Authorities are investigating the cause, while the FBI is involved in recovering the missing money.
Per media reports, no arrests have been made.
