Actor and singer Tyrese Gibson turned himself in to police in Atlanta after an arrest warrant was issued for animal cruelty.

The charge stems from a tragic incident in which his four Cane Corso dogs allegedly attacked and killed a neighbor’s pet spaniel named Henry.

The attack occurred in Gibson’s upscale Buckhead neighborhood while he was reportedly out of town.

According to authorities, the dogs had been seen roaming the area multiple times prior to the fatal encounter, raising serious concerns about neglect and public safety.

Neighbors had previously complained about the dogs wandering the streets, with some claiming they felt unsafe.

On the night of the attack, security footage reportedly showed Gibson’s dogs charging toward the neighbor’s property.

The spaniel suffered severe injuries and internal bleeding, and did not survive.

Gibson posted a $20,000 bond and was released the same day.

He has since rehomed the dogs and expressed deep sorrow for the loss, stating he is cooperating fully with authorities and accepts full responsibility for his pets.

As of now, no official court date has been announced for the next hearing.

Legal experts suggest that, given the misdemeanor nature of the charge and Gibson’s cooperation, the outcome could range from fines and probation to mandated animal safety training.

However, if negligence is proven, the court may impose stricter penalties to set a precedent for responsible pet ownership.

This blog will be updated as the case develops.
