Trump Fingered in Gerrymandering Tactics to Protect Himself from Midterm Election Accountability.

In the USA.

The news as it trends.

The gerrymandering storm unfolding in Texas has now been traced directly to President Donald Trump, according to conservative media sources.

With midterm elections approaching and polls suggesting voters are fed up with his chaotic presidency and scandal-ridden legacy, Trump is reportedly pressuring Republican-led states to redraw congressional maps—not after the census as the law demands, but urging them to do it now.

The goal? Dilute Democratic power and prevent a potential flip of the House that could lead to yet another impeachment and accountability, undermining his desire for a more authoritarian presidential style.

Polls show that voters nationwide are demanding accountability for alleged crimes tied to the Trump administration—ranging from the Epstein files to illegally withholding congressionally appropriated funds, accepting unconstitutional gifts, and more.

But rather than face public scrutiny, Trump is orchestrating behind-the-scenes maneuvers, including pressuring Texas Governor Greg Abbott to implement an unusual redistricting plan.

Abbott has gone so far as to ask the Texas Supreme Court to remove Representative Gene Wu, who led Democrats in fleeing the state to block the vote.

Legal analysts are raising alarms, arguing that such efforts are unconstitutional, as elected officials are chosen by their constituents—not appointed members of the governor’s cabinet who can be dismissed at will.

Gerrymandering, in essence, is political map manipulation.

Imagine placing 20 voters across 5 districts—fairly, that’s 4 per district.

But if you stuff 10 voters into just two districts and refill the remaining three with loyalists from other areas, you tilt the balance to favor your preferred candidates.

This means that more people end up being represented by fewer officials, while more loyal supporters are imported to create an artificial pathway for representatives aligned with the president’s party.

Legal analysts warn this tactic undermines fair representation and allows a select few to dominate.

What’s unfolding isn’t just Texas drama—it’s part of a nationwide playbook, with states like Florida and Indiana potentially next in line.

But the Constitution may have the final word, as legal challenges mount to block what critics are calling a reckless abuse of democratic principles.

Voters, meanwhile, continue to demand accountability and the preservation of voting power as guaranteed by the Constitution.
