Experts are now warning and using this tragedy as a cautionary tale—safety first has never been more important.
Egyptian stuntman Magdy Abdelghany, known for his thrilling flyboard performances, tragically died following a live show accident in Sahl Hasheesh on July 13, 2025.
Magdy, 36, was performing with jet-powered water gear like the one seen in the video below when a technical malfunction caused him to fall from a high altitude.
He was not wearing a helmet, leading to fatal head injuries.
Rushed to Hurghada General Hospital, he passed away on July 17 after days in intensive care.
His daring stunts had earned him a loyal following since 2018, and fans across Egypt are mourning the loss of a true showman.
Authorities are investigating safety protocols, while tributes continue to pour in for a performer whose passion for flight inspired thousands.
A reminder: everything man-made—especially synthetic innovations—must be approached with care and responsibility.
