A shocking breach of duty has rocked Bayelsa State as a dismissed police sergeant—once trusted as a loyal security detail—has been declared wanted for allegedly abducting a High Court judge.

The State Commissioner of Police, Francis Idu, confirmed that the officer was dismissed for abandoning his post and was subsequently linked to the judge’s disappearance.

Authorities are now in pursuit of the suspect, whose actions have cast a shadow over the integrity of law enforcement in the region.

This alarming incident has sparked public outrage and raised serious concerns about security protocols for members of the judiciary.

The Bayelsa Police Command is urging citizens with any information on the fugitive’s whereabouts to come forward.
