Around the world.

The news as it trends.

Polish millionaire Piotr Szczerek, CEO of paving and landscaping firm DrogBruk, is facing global backlash after snatching a signed tennis cap meant for a child during a live broadcast at the US Open.

The cap was being handed over by Polish tennis star Kamil Majchrzak, but Szczerek reportedly intercepted it mid-air and tucked it into his wife’s bag, ignoring the young fan’s reaction.

The moment went viral, sparking outrage across social media and damaging DrogBruk’s online reputation.

Szczerek later admitted to taking the cap and defended his actions with the phrase “first come, first served.”

He’s now allegedly threatening legal action against online critics who posted insults and slander, stating that “insulting a public figure is subject to legal liability.”

Founded in 1999, DrogBruk is known for its paving solutions and sports sponsorships — including tennis.

But this incident has cast a shadow over its brand, with many calling for accountability and ethics in corporate leadership.

Meanwhile, Majchrzak made things right by gifting the child a new signed cap and other memorabilia.

The internet isn’t buying Szczerek’s defense — and the drama continues.
