A social media personality and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has opened a new Pandora’s box, unleashing fresh criticism against Peter Obi and vowing not to retract any of his words despite looming legal threats.

In his latest appearance on Channels TV, Adeyanju slammed Peter Obi and revealed that during a private meeting with the former Labour Party presidential candidate, Obi allegedly offered him an envelope — which Adeyanju says he rejected immediately.

The meeting took place ahead of the 2023 elections.

Adeyanju claims Obi described the envelope as “a small token,” but he refused it, stating that his political convictions are not for sale.

He also labeled Obi’s movement as the most toxic Nigeria has ever witnessed, accusing Obidients of terrorizing anyone who disagrees with them.

This disclosure followed a legal threat from Obi’s team over Adeyanju’s social media posts, which they deemed defamatory.

Adeyanju responded by standing firm, saying he’s ready to meet Obi in court and defend his statements.

He expressed deep disappointment in Obi’s defense of past corruption allegations, calling the encounter “disgusting.”

The controversy continues to stir public debate.
