A U.S. Postal Service worker in Los Angeles has pleaded guilty to stealing checks, credit cards, and personal information from mail while flaunting stacks of cash on social media.
Mary Ann Magdamit, 31, of Carson, California, worked at the Torrance post office from 2022 to mid-2025.
She used stolen cards to fund luxury purchases and international trips, including visits to Aruba and Turks and Caicos.
Federal agents found over 130 stolen cards, Treasury checks, and a ghost gun in her apartment.
Magdamit remains in custody and faces up to 30 years in federal prison.
Her sentencing is scheduled for October 27.
The case has sparked outrage over internal security lapses within USPS.
