In the USA.

The news as it trends.

Nicholas Fuelling, 43, is wanted by the NYPD for allegedly scamming nearly a dozen people out of thousands of dollars through a fake apartment rental in Hell’s Kitchen.

Fuelling reportedly posted a listing for a two-bedroom unit at 334 W. 47th St. on Facebook, offering it for $3,200/month.

Victims toured the apartment, signed leases via DocuSign, and paid deposits—only to discover others had done the same.

At least 11 people have come forward, claiming they were duped.

Fuelling vanished after being confronted, prompting a grand larceny investigation.

Authorities warn renters to be vigilant, as Fuelling used convincing tactics including social media, ID, and in-person meetings to manipulate victims.
