The news as it trends.
Kanye West is speaking out—and as dramatic as ever, he’s not letting any claim go unanswered.
The rapper and fashion mogul is now swinging back at a lawsuit filed by former assistant Lauren Pisciotta, who accused him of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and false imprisonment during her time working for him between 2021 and 2022.
In a statement released on July 13, 2025, West’s team dismissed the allegations as “absurd and outlandish,” calling them “fantasy fiction.”
His spokesperson added they’re ready to “annihilate” the accusations in court.
Pisciotta’s attorney, Lisa Bloom, fired back, saying West has “publicly admitted much of what she’s claiming.”
The case has sparked intense media attention, with fans deeply divided.
Kanye West is a father of four—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
As of 2025, West’s net worth is $2.77 billion, according to reports.
In the ongoing lawsuit, Pisciotta is reportedly seeking financial damages.
Some claims suggest she was offered a $3 million severance, which she says was never paid.
Others allege she demanded up to $4 million annually while employed, though West’s team strongly disputes that.
The legal battle continues to unfold in public view, adding yet another dramatic chapter to West’s controversial legacy.
