Fuji music icon K1 De Ultimate has publicly apologized after an occurrence at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on August 5, 2025.

In his statement, he conveyed his regret over the situation but categorically denied claims that he was in possession of alcohol.

K1 clarified that the flask in question contained solely water, attributing this to chronic dehydration and a physician’s recommendation to maintain hydration.

He stressed that he had not boarded the plane and that CCTV footage could corroborate his narrative.

The artist extended his apologies to the Presidency, aviation officials, and the Nigerian populace, asserting that it was never his intention to violate airport regulations.

He reiterated his commitment to Nigeria and expressed gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support.
