In the USA
The news as it trends.
Trouble is piling up for Roland Beainy, the outspoken Trump-supporting restaurateur behind Texas-based Trump Burger.
As he faces a looming deportation hearing in November, Beainy is also fighting a fresh legal battle over alleged trademark theft—watching his business slip away right before his eyes.
Beainy claims his former landlord, Archie Patterson, illegally seized control of the Kemah restaurant location and rebranded it as “MAGA Burger USA,” using Beainy’s patriotic-themed decor and trademarked names.
He’s now suing Patterson for allegedly stealing his restaurant branding and concept.
Patterson denies the allegations, calling the lawsuit “frivolous.” Trademark experts say Beainy’s case may be difficult to win, especially since Donald Trump owns the rights to his name, which could undermine Beainy’s trademark claims.
On top of that, Beainy’s immigration status remains uncertain.
He was detained by ICE earlier this year and released on bail, with a hearing scheduled for November.
His former business partner is still in ICE custody.
With branding, politics, and deportation all colliding, Beainy refuses to go quietly.
The legal drama continues to unfold, and many are watching to see how this high-stakes saga ends.
