Ghislaine Maxwell Heads to John Roberts’ Court in Final Attempt to Escape Justice.

In the USA.

The news as it trends.

Ghislaine Maxwell, once a key accomplice to Jeffrey Epstein’s global abuse operation, has launched a last-ditch appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday, July 28, 2025, seeking to toss her 2021 federal sex trafficking conviction.

Maxwell’s legal team argues she is covered by Epstein’s 2007 plea agreement, which included a controversial promise not to prosecute any “potential co-conspirators” — even those not named in the document.

Prosecutors maintain that Maxwell groomed and trafficked girls for Epstein, with testimony pointing to over 100 victims, many of them minors.

Her lawyers assert that the government broke its word in that plea bargain, and that Maxwell should never have faced charges.

“This promise is unqualified,” they claim in their court filing — emphasizing that it wasn’t limited by geography or by who was known at the time.

But critics call her appeal a long shot, and survivors demand that the conviction stand.

Maxwell has exhausted appeals in lower courts, making this her final legal recourse unless she seeks a presidential pardon.

This gambit comes amid renewed public outrage, as Americans continue to call for the release of the elusive “client list” — the names of powerful individuals who allegedly participated in Epstein’s crimes.

The Department of Justice insists no such list exists, but skepticism remains high.
