Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has been conferred with the prestigious traditional title of Sarauniyar Yaki (Queen Warrior) by the Lamido of Akko Emirate, Alhaji Umar Muhammad Atiku, in Gombe State.

The honor, bestowed during her two-day working visit, recognizes her unwavering commitment to championing the rights of women, children, and vulnerable groups across Nigeria.

In her remarks, Mrs. Tinubu expressed gratitude and pledged to deepen her advocacy, especially for the girl child.

The ceremony was attended by top dignitaries, including Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya and House Chief Whip Hon. Usman Bello Kumo.

The First Lady also launched the Renewed Hope Initiative’s Flow With Confidence project, a menstrual health campaign targeting schoolgirls nationwide.
