UFC star Conor McGregor has officially lost his appeal in a civil sexual assault case filed by Irish woman Nikita Hand.

The incident dates back to December 2018, when Hand accused McGregor of rape and battery at a Dublin hotel.

In November 2024, a jury found him liable, awarding Hand €250,000 in damages and €1.3 million in legal costs.

McGregor denied the allegations, maintaining the encounter was consensual.

On July 31, 2025, Ireland’s Court of Appeal dismissed his appeal on all grounds, ruling the original trial was fair and rejecting attempts to submit new evidence.

Legal experts now suggest the case could spark a perjury investigation over witness testimony that was later withdrawn.
