Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has officially withdrawn her petition against TikToker Olaoluwa Segun, who falsely claimed she was HIV positive.

The content creator, known as “unofficial_olas001,” had listed Amusa among five Nigerian celebrities he alleged were living with HIV, using a misinterpreted 2019 post.

Amusa initially vowed legal action, and Olaoluwa was detained for two days at Yaba Panti police station. However, in a recent Instagram video, Amusa revealed she chose forgiveness after learning Olaoluwa had lost his mother and was only 27 years old.

She met his family and accepted his public apology. Amusa thanked her fans for their support, saying, “To err is human, to forgive is divine.” The case is now closed.
