The news as it trends.
A Virgin Atlantic flight from Los Angeles to London turned turbulent—not from weather, but from a group of unruly U.S. teenagers.
Onboard, nine teens allegedly used fake IDs to purchase alcohol before boarding, then drank and caused chaos mid-flight.
Crew members reported screaming, disruptive behavior, and safety concerns throughout the journey.
Upon landing at Heathrow Airport, the teens were arrested by police, had their travel authorizations revoked, and were warned of possible jail time.
Virgin Atlantic later flew them back to the U.S. separately.
The incident has sparked global debate on in-flight behavior and the consequences facing disruptive passengers.
