A Nigerian woman sparked online debate after moving into her newly rented apartment and immediately beginning renovations.

Despite just paying rent, she noticed the walls were uneven and riddled with holes.

Determined to improve the space, she bought a bag of cement, POP paint, and bonding materials, then hired a laborer to screed the walls.

She supervised the work herself, even purchasing extra supplies to ensure a smooth finish.

Her TikTok video documenting the transformation went viral, with some praising her initiative and others questioning why she invested in a property she doesn’t own.

The tenant responded confidently, saying she had no regrets and simply wanted a clean, livable environment.
