The news as it trends.
Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump’s former campaign manager and current Homeland Security adviser, says ICE agents will attend Bad Bunny’s upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance.
In an interview, Lewandowski stated, “There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally.
Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else.” The statement has sparked backlash, especially since Bad Bunny previously cited fear of ICE raids as a reason for avoiding U.S. tour stops.
The 2026 halftime show will be his only U.S. concert appearance.
Critics say the move politicizes entertainment, while supporters argue it enforces immigration law.
The controversy adds tension to what’s usually the most-watched performance of the year
