Although the meeting had been held, a new video has just been released showing what transpired during the thuggery and disruption.
Yesterday, a scheduled security meeting in Katsina State was violently disrupted by suspected thugs, just as Governor Dikko Umar Radda prepared to meet President Bola Tinubu in Abuja.
The gathering organized by the Katsina Security Community Initiative aimed to address rising insecurity across the state.
Chaos erupted when thugs accused the organizers of being anti-government, throwing chairs and threatening journalists.
Some were reportedly armed and stationed both inside and outside the venue.
Despite the disruption, the convener vowed to continue the dialogue.
The incident comes amid heightened political tension and growing calls for federal intervention.
Governor Radda later led a high-powered delegation to meet with President Tinubu in Abuja on September 2, 2025.
The meeting took place shortly after the Katsina unrest and focused on urgent security measures.
Tinubu responded by ordering immediate reinforcements and pledged federal support to stabilize the region.
